Welcome to Fireballs Junior Roller Derby

About Fireballs Junior Derby:

The primary focus of the Fireballs Junior Roller Derby League is to develop athletic skills, character, confidence, leadership, and social interaction in girls through the sport of roller derby, ages 12-17 years old. Participating athletes will gain the opportunity to develop viable skills and a sense of accomplishment that can carry over into other daily pursuits.

We encourage any girl to work and play in our league. Each participant is recognized as an individual, and we actively seek to bring out the “best they can be” in each Fireball recruit.

The junior skaters are trained by a team of qualified flat track roller derby skaters from Peach State Roller Derby in combination with Head coach, Danielle Sones, as well as other skating volunteers.

Provided is a unique sisterhood with participants coming from very diverse backgrounds. The Fireballs Junior Roller Derby League draws from this sisterhood to achieve its goals and prepare girls for adulthood and adult roller derby leagues. It is designed to nurture and develop both skilled athletes and those who have not yet realized the champion that resides within.
