Do I need prior experience to play roller derby?
No experience necessary. While some skating experience is helpful, we will teach you everything you need to know. No one is too old to learn! We will ask that you look through the New Skater Training curriculum and self-assess your skills. We offer workshops to help new skaters master the necessary basic skills to start your roller derby obsession.
Our league has a gender-inclusive policy, in line with the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association’s gender policy. We welcome trans, intersex, gender non-binary and expansive people for whom women’s flat track roller derby is the version of derby with which they most closely identify.
You must be 18 years old to join our adult league. We’re looking for ladies who have spunk and are ready to give their all to this physically demanding and rewarding sport, and be a part of a wonderfully supportive organization of women.
